Salary Basic - £28K - £35K depending on experience

Uncapped Commission - £50K+ OTE

Location: Fareham (you will need to be able to commute to our offices)

We offer a wide range of new and used vans, as well as complete vehicle set up packages for key trades including drainage, plumbing, building, electrical and many other industry sectors.

    This Business Development Manager position could see the right applicant grow with our business over the coming years into one of our key leaders and eventually into the senior leadership team. We focus our growth on training the people of today for the success of our future.     When you join us, you will receive four levels of training and development as part of this team (which includes comprehensive management training). By the end of this, you will be prepared to manage your own team ,and then you’ll have access to move onto our executive programme.

    We are based on the prestigious Cams Hall Estate, on the M27 corridor at Junction 11.

    The Role:

    We’re seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Business Development Manager to support our fantastic sales function. You will play a key role in our growth strategy, using your skills to build and develop the business to help us reach new levels of success.

    The successful candidate will receive guided mentorship, training and support to ease you into the role. You’ll be focused on developing new business opportunities whilst maintaining our strong emphasis on people and relationships. You will be responsible for qualifying and generating new sales prospects across a range of industry sectors. The ability to self-motivate, drive to succeed and an excellent telephone manner are key components to being successful in this role.

    What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Identifying and developing new relationships in line with our growth strategy
  • Telephone sales – a combination of cold and warm activities
  • Attending business networking meetings
  • Maintaining and building excellent relationships with our existing clients
  • Making suggestions for new ideas and ways to improve the business
  • Creating proposals and quotations
  • Working alongside our sales team, negotiating to close deals
  • Maintaining a high level of knowledge of our market industry and current events

  • Experience of working with vehicle finance products
  • Understanding of finance products on the market today
  • Experience of sales/lead generation techniques

  • Full driving license ideal but not essential
